Sleep Apnoea
We all snore sometimes… but over 30% of people snore regularly… some loudly! The worst recorded ever was 111 decibels, up there with a jet flying right over your house. Naturally this can impact relationships and can be bad for your health. While not all snoring is bad for your health (or relationships) sometimes it signifies deeper medical issues. One of the more serious is obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA).
Some signs are:
- Restless sleep
- Gasping at night
- High blood pressure
- Excessive daytime fatigue
- Headaches in the morning
Some or all of these can compromise your quality of life in all aspects. Like many things the key is early detection and diagnosis so that you can plan the best treatment for you. Many people we’ve treated have made comments after treatment that it was like getting their life back again. One lady even remarked that it was “like being back amongst the land of the living again!”
If you or a loved one show signs of this disorder, do seek treatment…
… it can be life changing and in extreme cases… lifesaving. We can guide you on your best path to assess the situation and we offer a range of treatment options. See you soon.”
